How did you end up at Catalyze and what do you do in your daily work?
I joined Catalyze after working at a green and sustainable startup. My background is in Industrial Microbiology, but during my studies I realized the laboratory itself was not where I wanted to build my career. Instead, I was drawn to the process of bringing innovation to market. At Catalyze, I started as an Associate Business Developer in the Green and Sustainable Innovations team, where I help startups, scale-ups, and academics develop strategies to secure public funding and accelerate their technologies.
Can you describe how you make an impact on your clients in your daily work?
In my daily work, I often meet innovators with amazing technologies but limited experience navigating the public funding landscape. I help them translate their ideas into clear development roadmaps and identify funding opportunities that support their growth. By combining strategic advice with funding expertise, I support clients in accelerating their innovation without relying solely on equity financing. It’s rewarding to see how the right funding strategy can help startups scale faster and bring impactful technologies to market.
Can you describe what you like about your team, your colleagues, the collaboration within Catalyze, and the company culture?
What I appreciate most about Catalyze is the team. My colleagues bring diverse expertise across science, technology, and business, which creates a very collaborative and dynamic environment. Everyone is highly motivated and willing to support each other, making it easy to exchange ideas and learn from one another. This mix of knowledge and openness allows us to approach complex innovation challenges from different angles while maintaining a supportive and enjoyable workplace culture.
