How did you end up at Catalyze and what do you do?
I started at Catalyze after I completed my internship with the Project Management team. Then I joined the Commercial Team as a Content Writer, focussed on sharing the stories of Catalyze and the brilliant clients that we work with. In addition, I develop and coordinate a whole host of other content, including funding program news and industry information, videos, comprehensive downloadable guides, and insights articles, with the aim of informing our audience while building awareness and trust in the company.
Can you describe how you make an impact for your clients in your daily work?
As a Marketing function, my purpose is to primarily develop and build the brand of Catalyze, while supporting the work of my Business Development colleagues, who bring in new innovative clients. This means we create a lot of materials that aim to enable our Business Developers to establish new relationships with promising leads. Externally, we also share and disseminate a lot of useful information, and also often give our large platform to our clients, helping them disseminate their exciting research projects.
Can you describe what you like about your team, your colleagues, the collaboration within and the culture of Catalyze?
The collaboration within Catalyze is always interesting because each team is well specialised in their respective areas. This creates a holistic approach to collaborating – especially in my function, where I often collaborate with colleagues from across all departments. I hear from a lot of different perspectives and expertise. Generally, this is part of what creates a special culture at Catalyze – lots of people, Dutch and internationals like myself, all with interesting backgrounds and lots to offer one another.
What would you like to say to your future colleagues?
Catalyze is a place full of great people aligned on a common purpose, to work for a company that is making a meaningful impact through the support it provides to innovators across life sciences and sustainability.
