How did you end up at Catalyze and what do you do in your daily work?
After completing my Bachelor’s in Biomedical Sciences, I already knew that I eventually wanted to work with innovations that were closer to the market than the research I was doing at the time. I therefore pursued a Master’s in Science and Business Management. After finishing my Master’s, I explored through various conversations where I could combine the innovative side of biomedical sciences with more practical applications. That is how I discovered Catalyze. At Catalyze, I found the perfect opportunity to stay involved with the innovations I enjoy so much, while also applying my interest in business. As a junior Business Developer in Life Sciences & Health, I help clients further develop their products by identifying funding opportunities that align with their development goals.
Can you describe how you make an impact on your clients in your daily work?
I make an impact by understanding the challenges our clients face and determining how I can help them secure funding for their projects. By identifying the right funding opportunities, I enable their innovations to continue developing and move closer to the market. That’s when the circle truly comes full!
Can you describe what you like about your team, your colleagues, the collaboration within Catalyze, and the company culture?
Catalyze has a very open and entrepreneurial company culture. What I enjoy most is that new initiatives are appreciated and people are eager to collaborate to bring good ideas to life. I also appreciate the fun activities that are regularly organized and the many young colleagues I work with here.
