How did you end up at Catalyze and what do you do?
I was working at ttopstart as a consultant and business developer in the field of grants and subsidies within the Life Sciences and Health. Then Catalyze reached out with a nice opportunity to become part of the business development team within the Green & sustainable innovations team and I decided to make the switch. Nowadays, I still work within the business development team, but also manage my own team of consultants that end up working on the projects that I bring in for Catalyze.
Can you describe how you make an impact for your clients in your daily work?
In my daily work, I am in close conversations with clients to help them either fund their project, or bring their funded project to completion. Our impact varies from identifying the fitting opportunity for them to aim for, all the way to submitting a compelling story to get funding for their R&D intensive projects.
Can you describe what you like about your team, your colleagues, the collaboration within and the culture of Catalyze?
Catalyze hires very smart and entrepreneurial people. What I enjoy most is brainstorming together about the concept of a project, troubleshooting, thinking along with our clients, putting ourselves in their shoes but also advising them on the right business strategy going forward. At Catalyze, I also love bouncing ideas back and forth between myself and my manager or my peers, or my team, to improve processes, to think of new ways of doing things, or to strategize for the whole department going forward.
What would you like to say to your future colleagues?
You will be joining a multi-national, multi-cultural company that is fast paced, with big immediate impact for the clients that we work for and also rewarding in terms of bringing them closer to their goals.
