On top of these achievements, we manage several investment funds and have our own fund (Catalyze Capital) through which we actively invest in early-stage technologies. We are looking for an:

Investment Advisor - Life Sciences and Health

One of our services at Catalyze Group is to help our clients by raising equity/venture capital from investors. As an Investment Advisor at Catalyze Group, you will drive the building of VC investor syndicates from Seed to Series A rounds for clients and support our clients with their negotiations with investors, as well as, driving business development by acquiring new clients for equity support. You will raise equity financing together with a team of senior consultants and managers leveraging your own network, experience, and expertise. 

Role and responsibilities

As an Investment Advisor, you will closely collaborate with our clients guiding them to become investment- ready and close investing rounds. Serving as a trusted advisor, you provide strategic insights and market intelligence to enhance our clients' investment strategies. You will foster strong relationships with a network of potential investors, venture capitalists, and other financial institutions to expand the company's funding options. Additionally, you play a key role in bringing in new business for Catalyze Group and qualify high-potential startups for equity fundraising support.

Together with our team, you are responsible for guiding companies through the process of becoming investment-ready, closing investment rounds, and navigating valuations and negotiations. You actively identify funds matching client needs, facilitate investor meetings, and support clients during due diligence. With a deep understanding of financial markets and industry trends, you contribute to our clients' long-term financial health and foster beneficial partnerships between businesses and investors.

The Investment Advisor reports to the manager of the strategic consultant department. We like to think of the Investment Advisor as a determining factor in the success of our clients as well as being one of the driving forces behind our growing Business and Strategic consulting team.


  • Strong network of venture capital and private investors in the Life Science and Health field.
  • An advanced degree (Master's, MBA, or equivalent) is highly desirable.
  • Proven track record in securing equity investments via seed to series A rounds for startups in Biotechnology and the Life sciences and health.
  • Minimum relevant experience of 5-7 years.
  • In-depth knowledge of financial business models, investment analysis, risk management, and a deep understanding of industry challenges and opportunities
  • Strong network within the biotechnology and health industry.
  • Business development experience and deal making ability.
  • Excellent quantitative and qualitative analytical skills with the ability to perform due diligence for investors.
  • Effective communication and presentation abilities to convey complex investment strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Leadership experience in building and managing high-performing teams.
  • Extensive experience in investment management, particularly in life science and health portfolios
